Shirley Chisholm was a true Caribpolitan! Born in Brooklyn to Bajan and Guyanese parents, she broke barriers throughout her career. In 1968, she became the first Black congresswoman, and in 1972, she made history again as the first woman to run for President.
Auntie Shirley’s legacy is a testament to her dedication to fighting for the rights of women & minorities. She was a strong advocate for education, healthcare, and social justice, and her motto ""Unbought and Unbossed"" reflects her commitment to staying true to her values.
To celebrate her centennial birthday, I AM CARIBBEING curated this limited-edition Shirley Chisholm Box, featuring a bespoke collection of merch in her honor.
Box includes:
Crewneck
